We can speculate. Not many guys his age give up the chance to play origin and test RL to come to SL. Much as I like to see him play for us I think it's unlikely.

Perhaps someone a bit older who is proven and perhaps ready for a change might be better? I'm thinking of Matt Orford.

Tbh, I'd rather have Orford than Hunt in some senses. He's more experienced, and we need that in the squad. Either would be brilliant but I still can't see either of them coming to us. What about Tim Moltzen from Wests Tigers? He's only 20-21 I think, I saw him in 1 game and was looking good, pacey which is what we need in the halves. I'm sure Gold Coast have a few young Half backs that would be up to SL standard, worth a punt maybe.

He's played it all before, and if he comes early in his career then he can have the chance to go back again. Besides, he's well down the pecking order, isn't he?

Has Lee Smith signed back up with Leeds yet. I know he's not exactly what we're looking for but could cover centre, wing and FB.

Perhaps, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. Not many players of his ability and age come to SL under normal circumstances. It's not as if he's had a fallout with his club like Bird or Lyon did.

I'm not sure about that, can't see Hunt coming tbh. I would love to see him in red amber and black but it's unlikely. Half the clubs in NRL would probably offer for him and I understand he turned down a massive offer from Wigan?

He's not a proven centre though is he? He'd cost a fair bit and as you say he's prob not what we're looking for. I'd say a decent halfback is the main priority.

Nah, I'm not getting my hopes up, it would be nice though. But circumstances are different for everybody arn't they? All people want different things from their lives and careers. Hunt might just break the mould and come to Super League. I think his relations with his club might be strained to be perfectly honest, with the sex scandal and the long drawn of contract negotiations which Brisbane recently pulled their offer off the table.
