My take on that article is that he has been interviewed and would consider it if offered. If it was not an option it would be the easiest thing in the world to say so.

Furthermore I suspect he'll take it if its offered, as opposed to [imaybe [/igoing to oz as an assistant and [imaybe [/ibeing offered an extension here. If I were in his position I'd see it as an interesting and relatively safe career move. It will be easier to get another SL job after a few seasons with England than it woul dbe if the Bulls don't renew his contract IMHO.

To add to that last veiled comment, I believe Macca could well be unveiled as England's new coach. After all he has been keeping the seat warm all this time and done his stint of coloring in for Tony Smith. In this way he would use the England post to disguise an exit from the Bulls as moving onto bigger and better things before England are mullered by the antipodeans at the end of the season and he retires to accept demotion as Brian Smith's under-study.
