| With that amount of posession and sets pressing the Wigan line, speaks for itself hopeless.our last line of attack the lightning fast wellans, lomax's 20 times jinx spin n turn routine and failure to pass , slow predictability enabling wigans line to get deck chairs out while they waited, shenton least said the better.Pi$$ poor.

| Lomax is a great player with a great future but just isn't a #7. He just isn't. He needs to be running further out wide onto passes from a real #7. Most depressing thing is that it's hard to see where we might get one any better than Matty Smith from either. Hopefully some Aussie club might be prepared to swap Hohaia for a decent #7 this summer. Please, Baby Jesus, pretty please....

| Wellens is not the guy to keep bringing on the pass when the ball is spread out, for me Wheeler and Sia would be a better option. Can't get away from the point that the game was 100% lost in the forwards.
The only reason goons defence looked so good on their line is because they didn't have to worry about a big guy hitting up the centre.

| how many ways are there to skin a cat with reference to swapping team structure? Wherever you put players in this side you'll ened up with mediocrity.Lomax is great potential but today was predictable and was like a stuck record wigan read him easily.Shame for Tommy Makinson one bright spark in shocking team spirit, endeavour and no back up.LMS also some good impact The rest mediocre(just) or dire.

| Saints were very poor in attack today and looked clueless. There were many times when you had overlaps and simple passing through the hands would have got you a try but your half backs didnt have a clue and took the wrong decision.

When you say took the wrong decision do you mean he thought he was Tony Puletua?Yeah well done Wigan .How can you take advantage of overlaps if there is nobody and i mean absolutely nobody bossing the field?Houston we have a leadership problem.

| Runners are only dangerous when there is structure in the attack to create gaps in the defence. Given that 80% of the time there were no dummy runners, we failed to create overlaps, the full back chiming into the line is as speedy as the Mersey Ferry and the stand off offered very little with ball in hand, passing wise or with the boot, I could have defended against Lomax today never mind the best defence in the league so far.

| I t dosen't help having a #6 who creates nothing and a fullback who was the go-to man and was so slow he was in reverse.
