| Anyone else heard of the "Rumour" Re: Jamie Foster and Tom Armstrong joining Widnes next season on these Dual Contracts?
Other names banded around were Matty Blythe, Kev Penny and Karl Pryce
Im unsure on the rules surrounding these, are you permitted players from numerous clubs or do all players have to be from one specific club?

3076_1671446335.jpg SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS
For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3076.jpg |

Paul Cullen was on the radio a few weeks back and said that the dual contract rules had not been sorted, so he was unsure if it was on a one to one club basis.
I THINK he said that it would probably be at the Superleague clubs discretion as to which club(s) they partnered with.
Sorry if that's not the definitive answer that you were looking for.
As pre season training is starting in just over a couple of weeks time I would expect the rules to be agreed by then.
Of course this is the RFL we're talking about though.

| The Championship could spike up in quality if all the best reserve players go playing that division. Seems like a good idea to me.
I've texted Mac and told him that some of our fringe squad players could do with the experience. I've suggested that young Francis Meli, Ade Gardner and Leon Pryce go out to Widnes.

| I imagine the likes of Emmitt, Frodsham and Armstrong will go out on loan to Widnes or Leigh depending on what league they are in.

38511.jpg [b:3v5chy3z]Brian McDermott paraphrased Peter Fox.
"He'd say if we had 13 Bernard Dwyers we wouldn't lose many RL games. It's the same for us with JJB"[/b:3v5chy3z]:38511.jpg |

i don't think that this is the case though!
imo, any given "sl club" can dual register "any player" to which ever club that it deems fit!

| I imagine that it would make sense for clubs to create partnerships with individual clubs. This would then open the door for loaning of coaches to ensure that players out on loan received the coaching the parent club wanted. It would be very annoying as a parent club to let young players go out for them only to come back with bad habits.
The players mentioned (i.e. squad numbers 19+) are the ones likely to gain from playing at teams like Widnes and Leigh.
Remember it does not have to be young players that get sent out on dual contracts. We could sign an old player and squirrel him away at Leigh for a rainy day.

I knew someone would bloody say that.
If your not in the starting 19 man squad then I think you should have a dual contract. So 19+ excluding Maurie.
