Unlike some Saints fans, I'm not fickle. I actually meant what I said when I talked about wanting them to play like the old Saints. It's pig easy to get a good score against poor opposition. I noticed that they did something else they were doing last season too: they let in a try at the death. So that hasn't changed.
I could only listen to Ray French today. I want to see them play, and play against a team that has its act together, before I judge whether Saints have their own act together or not.
I'm happy with the win, obviously, and I didn't expect them to win. But I'm not jumping on the 'everything is now ok' bandwagon just because we've beaten a team that clearly have yet to click.
