Quote FlexWheeler="FlexWheeler"It's all well and good paul wellens talking the talk in his interview and saying what all fans want to hear but, he threw a hail mary which lead directly to a try and he adds little to saints team on the field and doesn't seem to lead by example.'"
Wellens tried everything he could in attack and defence. He certainly wasn't the first to throw a miracle ball, and it's just what had to be done, it was do or die at that point - and at least he tried (more than some)
It's hard to say anyone can hold their heads up after that. Individually, Mose did some good things, Walsh did some good things, the rest were wasteful or invisible at best.
It is collectively we are seriously in trouble, line speed is dire, aggression is none existent, structure is pretty much the last word I'd use to describe us in both attack and defence. On top of that, our conditioning is very poor, and the tackling technique is below amateur. We just can't seem to show any motivation what-so-ever.
Bitterly disappointed in that performance isn't the word. We have a collection of players who i know can play 10x better than that, but any sort of must win game and we capitulate like a stack of cards...
