From tonights game, Ashe, Ade and Perry could have been playing checkers for all the impact I can recall they had.

There are huge places where we can improve. But tonight was all about manning up and showing some pride in the shirt, enough players did that and enough Leeds players had brain farts to get us all the way there.

Ashe got badly stood up by Moon. Did he go off at some point? I don't remember seeing much of him towards the end of the game.

I think he played the full match, but is the 6 that has offered the least.

We must be praying for Wheeler as he's been our best 6 all year. I just hope we can strap his body together for a few matches. I don't think he's been an amazing 6, but he has done more than Lance, Wellens, Ashe put together. And he only played about 4 games.

Wheels is the best half at the club by a silly margin, but I've given up on him ever stringing even half a season together.

Perry and Hohiah need getting shut of ASAP. They're are an embarrassment to our great shirt. Must be laughing there tits off the amount of money there both on!

Somehow, I still have faith in him!

Interesting comment made by Eddie tonight that seeing Percival and Makinson reminded him of Newlove and Sullivan at their peak. Don't mean to get carried away but the kid Percival looked pretty damn special at times tonight.

I've always rated him. He never really got injured at U16's but when he was put in the U19's a bit early he started to fall apart a bit, the rest is history.

I dunno I've thought about it a bit; perhaps sometimes when a player over physiques they become vulnerable to knocks? Having said that his injuries appear to be more skeletal than musclular.

If it was just one particular injury that keeps happening, they can sometimes be fixed (generally!), but with Gary its various parts of his body.
It's a bit of a puzzle - does he not go into tackles correctly, causing injury or is he - as some would say - made of paper tissue?

Ashe may have been anonymous tonight but it was his tackle on whichever Leeds player it was at around the halfway point of the first half that started to swing the game in our favour. As a result of that tackle we got our first bit of field position and slowly we began clawing our way back at that point.

I thought the try created by Manu, Percival and Makinson was the best I have seen from a Saints side in, well, I can't remember how long. That was a special, special play and one I have been dying to see (so glad Makinson and Percy were paired up together at last).

Can't comment on Hohaia really - not seen that much of him, but I've never seen Perry do ANYTHING in all the time he's been with Saints - did he even play tonight??

First 15 then never returned and he wasent injured. Played th efirst 10 against Widnes then the last 5 mins. He gets dominated and is awfull.

Highest paid forward at Saints aswell by a long way.

Laffranchi showed improvement tonight for me, Perry really is stealing a living though.
