If you also read that particular thread the Leeds fan or fans actually refer to one of the October finals where he actually only lasted 10 mins in that final referring to him as playing rubbish.

As you well know not every offence goes unpunished so stats like that count for little in debates such as this. or to put it another way, Ricky Bibey has two challenge cup winners medals, does that mean he was a bbetter player than all of the leeds players who don't have one?

i'm not sure anyone has claimed JG is an angel, in fact the more sensible posters here will happily admit when someone does something naughty as i'm sure there are Leeds fans who are prepared to do the same, its just a shame some fans refuse to take off their club colours tinted glasses off and act like rugby league fans rather than like childish football fans.

Indeed, but still, how many times that Bailey or Graham has been reviewed by the MRP is still a stat. They cannot claim that Bailey is a dirty player if Graham has been reviewed by them more, can they? Or is it the less serious incidents that just get a penalty make him a dirty player



I agree with what your saying abou the medals, and like i said on page what ever of this thread, Bails is an in form prop who has a good 5 or 6 years ahead of him and probably 3 or 4 until he peaks.

It's the obsession that opposition fans have with Bailey, if he's such a poor player why are you so bothered about him? why does he have his own chapter at every fans forum held on your side of the hills?

He had a good game on Saturday and got the Leeds MOM, the worst tackle of the game was Moores head high shot on Smith but yet we still have threads about Bailey.

And thanks to all the Saints fans for "confirming the fact" re Baileys ability but I think I will decide for myself if thats ok.

You shouldn't agree with him on that, because it is a scrapping the bottom of the barrell argument that is only raised by Saints fans.

Bibey was lucky to play for two sides who at the time he played for them were lucky enough to get into a knockout final. Bibey only spent 2 years at any club before been shipped out for been e.

Bailey has 4 GF winners rings over 6 year period with the one club, in which he has held down a place in that side despite that side been totally dominant in the game.

Anyone who thinks there is any similarlity between that and Bibey's career is seriously deluded.
