I,m not sure if we do have decent wingers of quality. If you look at the quality of the 28 wingers in super league I would place Makinson in the bottom 8 with Swift showing promise to be in the top half of wingers.
To be honest as a winger pair we are probably on a par with Wakefield and Bradford.

I think that's a bit harsh, I'm not saying they're world class, or even in the running for England but they're good enough and it means we can spend our money elsewhere

No you've got that wrong. Brown has enquired about Frank Spencer.

| OBrien not even made the Wire 19 man squad this week. Brett Hodgson now fit & included alongside Briers, Grix & Ratchford. When Myler returns next season he's absolutely no chance. Pretty selfish recall by Tony Smith.

Yes because that's Warringtons job, to make our close rivals a stronger squad and to help them win the GF?

| Talking about the player rather than than the two teams involved. Hardly aids his development, when this week he's probably turning out at Swinton. Needs to move on in close season like Gaskell & Foster, both of whom were allowed to play against us whilst on loan.

I think the comment was more about O'Brien than us. It's selfish to recall O'Brien when he was getting game time just to have him sit in the stands.

| And?
It's also idiocy to give our rivals a better chance at winning.

| I don't blame Warrington one bit for pulling him back. He's not our player, it's our own fault we've had to loan someobody else's 4th choice half back because we haven't got any of our own. If Warrington did the same to us, I wouldn't be one bit happy if we allowed him to play against us in a big match and certainly in the Play Offs. Thankfully we've got our own half back next season, so the 7 position won't be as much a problem.
As for Makinson, I can see where Judderman is coming from. Makinson has improved after he stagnated last season but he's nowhere near the best wingers in SL - his overall game is fairly limited. There's certainly more potential in Swift who is always looking to beat a man and run through the line rather than around it.

Spot on. I wouldn't give Warrington a cold never mind a chance at actually winning something.
