| We could sign Sam Burgess and no doubt Rogues would pick fault in a knock on or something during a game, so I wouldn't worry

| Rogues has every right to knock our signings with their superstar props such as Dudson and Powell.
Not to mention Lee 'Most over rated but decidedly average prop in the game' Mossop.

Watching Gelling play amuses me sometimes. Don't that fat person from Union who's done nothing yet.

| Gelling isn't a rugby player. I'm convinced he is a multi-billionaire who is paying Ian Lenagan mega bucks just to let him run around for a laugh. He's a joke.

| And then we've got the likes tomkins, Richards, mossop and Hock all jumping ship. Also looks like josh Charnley taking his little widge to the NRL next year.
They better win something this year because all not looking to good in pie land.

| Might be worth getting shut of Perry , Hohaia and Le Frank before getting too smug at Wigan.
Having a reserve hooker of Howarth's calibre and still having the likes of Gardner is nothing
to shout about either.
When the trophies come back and Saints play with flair over a period earns the right to be
become cocky again.

We don't go trying to put down players on their board though. If he wants to have subtle digs at our players, it's only fair we point out the puddings Wigan have.
Also Perry and Hohaia are off and Howarth isn't actually a Saints player. I'm not sure Gardner is getting an extension either.

What's that got to do with Beaumonts poor tackle that allowed a scrum half to pull him over the line?

Your getting boring. You come on here and wreck every thread. If we signed Thurston on you'd be on here telling us he doesn't tackle.
You just worry about your team.

| Quote: Blobbynator "I'd like another prop and have stated so on here before but I think we're in a much better position next year than this season especially if LMS can play more consistently like he is now and Walmsley continues to progress like he is doing. Masoe could be brilliant, he could be a liability we don't know yet and Beaumont looks like the type who will run at a brick wall, although whether he'll be too small and will avoid injury is another question. I like Walker, I think before his injury he was showing good form and has done well the last two games and Richards looks like he could get a few more games next year. He's certainly big enough to make an impact if he develops, so in terms of depth we have more next season (especially as Laffranchi will still be here too by the sounds of things).
I think we're more desperate for a Stand Off to be honest, although I'd like another big prop too who can play long minutes, no doubt about it.'"
If we can't get a stand off (or manage to find an English one) but can still offload Hohaia, use the quota spot on Kafuso (Kafusi?) from London. What a pack we'd have then!
If Salford get Chase (and/or Tim Smith), palm Hohaia off on them and bring Sneyd here.
Walsh plays 7 with Sneyd partnering him, backed up by Wilkin, Charnock and Wheeler.

Don't know why everyone got so wound up about this, if it is a snipe it's a weak one. I can't think of many players who've never made a poor tackle. Unless it's a major flaw in Beaumont's game and indicative of what we can expect every match, I wouldn't worry.
I for one am glad we're giving British forwards a go. Is he going to be on the same sort of money we'd have to tempt an overseas forward with? Unlikely. At the start of the season I doubt many people would have expected Walmsley (including himself, if you read his interview in Friday's programme) to make the impact he has. Let's hope RB can make a successful start as well - he must know he's got two sets of fans watching his performances now.
