I knew it was too good to be true. Somebody with a wicked side step and pace at Saints ? Never in a million years.
Looks like were stuck with both Laffranchi and Hohiah for next year aswell.

I think it was more of a case of TP saying he would be a good signing, rather than he is a good signing.

We've loaned O'Brien to stop him playing 6, we've loaned Howarth to stop him playing 9 and he's (by my reckoning) 5th choice full back.
Plenty of money sloshing about in the NRL, where he'll still have a decent rep. Why would he stay?
He's not quite old enough for this to be his last contract, so to just put his feet up would crucify his career? |
