I think it's the never say die attitude that runs through the club from top to bottom. Some of these young lads prob won't make it saints and maybe even super league level but they have been brought up on this attitude and should take a massive pat on the back.
All these lads are doing the club proud in this injury crisis.

The thing is,if given the opportunity,grab it with both hands.Some do,some don`t.

Armstrong went off, think with a broken nose. Gardner also went off but came back on in the second half.

Only one I noticed was Eastmond got some kind of hand injury in the first half, didn't make him leave the field though.
Edit - Sorry forgot about Armstrong , probably broken nose.

Finger problem, maybe without that problem he wouldn't have knocked on for Armstrong's no try.

He hurt his finger and at one point looked like he wanted to come off.

| According to a tweet from the Saints website, TP and Meli are doubtful for Sheffield, but Flannery should return. No mention of Armstrong

Thinking back, I might have seen TP with his arm in a sling which looked like possible shoulder injury. Think he was sat on the bench but he might have returned.
Does it mention what TP has injured?

Once Eastmond decided to pulled it out he was fine.
I would round any of the U20 and U18s not in Fairfield and stick them in against Sheff.
Somebody also needs to take those rollerskates off Ashe and he will be a real find.

| Both TP and Meli 'were struggling' apparently. Sounds like they played with injuries today. Next week would be the time to rest them, especially if both Perry and Jammer are fit to play. We can perhaps give Joe Greenwood a debut as he looks like a big second rower who may make an impact. If Flannery is fit to play next week, then he could cover centre for Meli unless the doctor manages to put Armstrong's nose back together in time for him to slip into centre spot again. Gardner looked ok once he'd had his stitches. Kyle had his finger strapped up so he should be ok to play. If we stick everybody's legs and arms back on they should be alright for next week.

Next week would be the ideal time to rest players, the problem tho is we've no players left to bring in.

Yep. That's what is says on the Saints site. Due to 'injuries throughout the club', it is unlikely that either TP or Meli will be rested next week.
We're never going to make it to the end of the season at this rate!

Looking at it as a positive, we might have all our players back towards the back end of the season all fresh and ready.

| Ashe did well for you guys tonight once he got into it, threw a couple of "nervous" passes early on. Thought Josh Perry looked very good.
Sure you don't need me to tell you how good Roby is.
It was never a penalty, but hey-ho.
Oh and Eastmond robbed your club of his wages this week. Surely you've got an under 18 player somewhere? This guy shouldn't, ever, play for you again.
