Yes we have others that ain't good enough like Lee, Thompson, Richards, Knowles etc but those so called senior players are not showing any leadership at all.
The only final we will plsy in is the million pound game. |

Saints have the players, they just don't have the game.
Generally they have a decent squad, whether the new coach can turn this lot round, I dunno.
Fans seem to be saying they're all tainted with the same brush and only a wholesale clear out will sweep the floor clean, but as a neutral the team appears littered with excellent players, they're just not at the races game time.

Your serious? You think we have the players and decent squad?
The squad is dire. It's been built on negative rugby. 5 drives and a kick is our only game plan until we get 1m off the line are try to barge over.
From this crop of crap we have in the squad we have only percy and Walmsley that are outstanding players. We have few decent players like fages, Roby amor and taia but the rest are rubbish. |

Walmsley and Percival are good players not outstanding players.
They are not good enough to start for England. FACT!
At best they are fringe England ham and eggers, as they used to be known.
Lots of Gym bunnies that are billy big biceps and have no rugby brain or pace. |

A fair summary, and i don't you are over reacting.
Looks like the whole set up needs a re boot. The new coach would be best getting rid of the old boys brigade on the coaching team and Wilkin needs putting out to pasture just for a start. |

The problem with saints fans is how spoilt you've been over the years. So used to watching some of the best players in SL you've become blinkered and had this arrogant mindset of "We're saints, we can always turn it around and snatch a win because that's what we do and that's what we're used too"
Well welcome to the real world.

Wilkin and Sculthorpe were talking the other day about standards, how when they first came to Saints they sar the quality of players we had in the golden years and how they had to raise themselves to get to the high standards set to get into the team. We don't have that at the mo, it will take Holbrook a while to sort out the deadwood and the sick, lame and lazy, and nurture the good players (Big Al, Percy etc) and bring through the youth/academy but he needs to make it clear from the start the high standards needed to be part of this club going forward.
