Thought Richards got through a lot of hard work in his starting spell. Walmsley did what Walmsley has done since signing for us. Thompson will be our pack leader by the time he's 20. Just keeps going and made a key tackle after a half break near our line by Hughes(?). LMS did some work, was he on for long? Masoe's best game, hope he keeps it up.

Another good thing to see was 3 of our forwards putting Wigan lads on their s. Richards on Doran, Masoe on Crosby and Thompson did it too, can't remember who it was on.

We basically did a Wigan on Wigan. Few high shots, late tackles, slowing the ruck down etc and it's effective providing the players are willing to fight fire with fire and tonight we was.

Just need them to do the same when Wigan have McIlorum back. Stand up to him as well as we did the rest of their team tonight and we'll do them every time.

I told you saints would be up this . Brown was at them all week.

Well, he needs to be at them more often rather than when he gets a bol locking himself and following a 42-0 humiliation while on holiday in the south of France. (My guess is that result was why we didn't sell our ticket allocation tonight)

Mosoe was tremendous tonight. There were some Wigan players pooing their pants at the sight of him! That's more of what he brought to the world cup and to Penrith and I'd like to see more of it.

He had the whole saints crowd fired up. Great to see him playing with a purpose and not going thru the motions.

He did the same against Huddersfield but you weren't there to see that performance! After the Huddersfield game was the first time Saints fans chanted his name, and we carried it on when the players came over post match.

Watching him tonight I thought he was heading for the early bath.

I think this was a bit of delegation from McManus.

I thought "I'm glad he plays for Saints and not us". If that was his best game then he must be really cack.

And the rest.

Credit to Saints but can they do that in a big game when Wigan have a full team out? Time will tell.

Thought Wellens looked good at the back to be fair.

Wiganers are so desperate to claim they had players out they're comparing to there "first choice" and deliberately not marrying up players to make it look like there were more. (On the Wigan board)

Lomax, laffranchi, Amor and Walsh 20 minutes in for saints, MM, Green, Pettybourne and Clubb for Wigan - anything further is trying to exaggerate the situation (like claiming Beaumont for Saints injury list for example) - and that's giving Wigan the benefit of the doubt that Clubb or Pettybourne is as good as Amor (probably balanced out by us getting Walsh for 20 minutes)

Anyway, Wigan fans were telling us all how wonderful their depth is this year, so it shouldn't matter right?
