I thought he did really. He's not a player I have ever noticed at academy levels. I guess he is a player who is impressing the Saints coaching staff with his attitude at training.

You mean you couldn't find out if he supported Wigan from googling it so you had no reason to comment on him?

No, I mean in the three times he played against Wigan last season he made no impression at all. In fact in one of the games his opposite centre ran all over him for three tries.

I though he looked good, always seemed to get his body through the other side of the tackle and get a good PTB, which is unusual for a young forward on his debut.

Perhaps (and I know this is a big stretch for you) you don't know everything about every young player from watching a couple of games a year when they happen to play against Wigan.

The only good thing about having these terrible injuries is the young lads have come and given a great account of themselves. Apart from Huddersfield last week they have stood toe to toe with the rest and I would like to praise Mike Rush and his team for some magnificent work in the youth areas!

The future is looking bright for us. I am convinced the more First Team experience these young players get the better it will be in the long run for the club. It will add to strength in depth of the squad. I havent written 2011 off by a long stretch but 2012 could well be a great year for the Saints.

Dont forget his best one. McIllorum was going to be the GB hooker for years to come...guaranteed!

I think you'll find I was one (of not many) who criticised Ainscough and actually praised Foster. I had many discussions on Ainscoughs overall performances on the Wigan site.
