His build makes him easier to tackle than a shorter, stockier player like Clough for example.
I will be very interested to see what shape he turns up in after pre-season, as I still think, after building up, he could be an excellent player for us.'" This is my veiw on the lad, tbh. Although if he wasn't so highly rated at junior level, I'd not think much of him at all tbh.
How old is he now? (quick check says he's coming up for 20 next month)
I know props develop later, but he really needs to show us [isomething[/i this season, really.

I watched him totally dominate the AIS one year when he was a year younger than anyone else, even going toe to toe with Dave Taylor and winning. You could see then just how special he was, so I really dont know what has gone wrong with him. From all accounts he is one of, if not the hardest worker in training and has an unreal willingness to learn. Maybe the Burgess tackle did to him, what masons punch did to fielden. I just dont know.

He hasn't had too many oppotunities, really, and most of the time he's performed admirably in a hard working , dependable manner. he has been on the end of a couple of big hits though. O'Loughlin caught him well in the game at the JJB.
Like someone said before, it'll be interesting to see what this off season does to his physique. If he put meat on his bones, given his decent frame, he'd be a fair unit.
Did n't a broken leg keep him out for the best part of a year? That may be what has held him up.

If he gesticulates his attributary deficiencies through his development flow pattern and concentrates on the periphery solidify aspects of the continual development plan his arc of preparatory alignment will be sufficient.
Or is he not related?

| Clough I expect to carry on in much the same vein, although with perhaps a tad more responsibility now Gilmour isn't around.
Wheeler, if he gets a run in the centres, could be the player everyone talks about next year. Whether he'll get that run out is another thing.
I'd like to see Lomax get 5-10 starts at full back with a view to potentially taking over the position in the not-too-distant. Again, though, not convinced this will happen.
Emmitt looks a tough lad but it's difficult to pick out props who are going to be good when they're that young. Frodsham, as has been said, needs more meat on the bones - hopefully he'll have put on some beef since we last saw him.
Ashurst and Dixon will continue to be solid and reliable, but whether they'll amount to anything more than that I'm not sure. There's Magennis to throw in the mix as well, which should be interesting.

| Frods was playing great untill that hit by Burgess, I remember he played Wakey at home put some big hits in. I think it's down to confidence. But he's had bad luck with injuries as well..
I'll put my neck on the line..
This season we'll see a different Frodsham. Injury free & fit. I'm expecting big things from him

He's played in the first team at 18 and been steady when he's appeared. He's made a couple of rickets (should have passed to Long rather than back himself at Hudds away last year, but that kind of error is expected from kids), he's already shown that he's as good as Hargreaves for me, with the potential to be better. He's not ripped up teams when he's come on, but he's been as solid as you can expect an 18/19 year old to be.
Whilst Anderson may have felt he was protecting him not putting him back on after that big hit, it's certainly done him no favours with fans (not you specifically) who don't seem to remember him making a further 8 or 9 appearances that year.

No, couple of games in. He makes good yards, 9-10 yards a carry.
Talk of a confidence knock is daft, it was ages ago, he'll be over it. He has had a bad run of injuries, but should be fit and firing this year.

There's no could have, should have with Frodsham really. Expecting him to be fully fledged prop at this stage is expecting too much.

| Cloughy i expect him to push on further. Need him to use his football brain more, rather than just play the basic game he has been doing.
Lomax probably another 6 or so games, in a multitude of places.
Dean 10-15 games. I expect like Wheeler he will get a good bit of experience at centre. He will probably be more suited during the heavier conditions earlier in the season, whith Wheeler preferred when pitches start hardening up in the summer months.
Wheeler 10-15 games, could be a lot more but i expect both he and Dean will interchange at centre quite a bit.
Dixon and Ashurst 10-15 games each. Bit more strength in backrow this year, but they should still get more games under their belts and develop further
Frodsham 10 games. Barring injury i expect Frodsham to start to make more of an impact. I thought he was outstanding as an 18 year old prop playing 1st team. Something James Graham tended not to do until he was around 21 years old.
Last season was a write off for Frodsham due to injury, but hopefully he will come back bigger and stronger this off season.
Numpties saying Burgess did his bottle is comical.
Potentially Frodsham could displace Bryn this season as 5th choice prop.
Armstrong, a couple of games if wingers get injured.
Foster a couple of games if injuries hit us hard in the backs.
Moore, will probably play 20+ games
Mcgennis depends how his injury has affected him. May take half a season of reserve team rugby league to get confidence and match fitness back. (Serious injuries can badly impact on even the most experienced players) Expect to see him perhaps get a few games later in the season.
Emmitt probably another 4 or 5 games. Depends if he pushes on further and also how Frosham goes.
Others who may get a game or two:-
Jamie Ellis
Andy Yates
Lee Gaskill
