| Cant see Eastmond going to either union or another Super League club to be quite honest. Think it is Mr Offiah pulling the strings for a large contract. Isnt Richie Myler linked with a move also? Another of Martins clients..

in a word? no
more than one word? no and he doesn't represent myler any more. Myler is very happy at Wire and Wire are more than happy at wire. Apparently.

Offiah isn't Arnold's agent.

| I personally still think he'll stay.
Saints will offer him what he's worth to extend his contract (and will be in the best position to judge what that is), but if someone offers him more than that then so be it, we'll then have a decent wedge put aside to find a replacement.

The biggest risk for us is the possibility of losing Eastmond, Pryce and Graham all at once. It would leave us with a wedge on the cap but how many class players will be available to replace them ?

| The only thing I ever believe in the Sun is the date, and then only after I've checked it on my calender.
It's about as reliable as Dave (Nosey) Parker.

Point taken, but this article has quotes in it.

That's my fear too. I'm not convinced any of them will stay. I could see Pryce going back to Bradford for his twilight years, Graham off to the NRL and Eastmond to whoever will pay the most for him and give him the best exposure (that's the impression he is giving). I'd like to think we will have all three for the next two seasons, to give us time to bring the likes of Jonny Lomax and others up to speed. Whoever organised it that the spine of our team plus Jammer was up for contract negotiations at the same time got something a big wrong I reckon!

| This caught my eye:
Meanwhile, Eastmond, 21, rates himself 50/50 to make St Helens' season-opening derby with Wigan at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium after ankle surgery.
He said: "I should be all right in a few weeks. But I'm not sure about the start of the season, it can be windy in February, and I'd hate for a breeze to come along, knock me over and see me gone for the season."
