"Every person in RL" didn't give the try. The ref did.

In any event we were denied a certain try by Percy.
Overall I thought we were poor and with the points against the defence speaks for itself.
We were quite lucky to win this one and KC's comments afters the game were I thought really poor again; he gave no credit to Cas and smoothed over the p**a poor defence. A man in denial who looks out of his depth; hopefully he will grow into the role.
18 apiece at half time and you would have thought he would have motivated the team to come out fighting after giving an 18 point lead away but we looked scared and nervous. After that the game could have gone either way.
Worrying injuries to Alex and Wilko.

I don,t think KC would have had time to collect his thoughts after that nervy ending, he just told it as it was without having a constructive analysis script in front of him, definitely not got the experience to be media Savvy at the moment but that comes over time which KC hash,t had the benefit of.

| I thought people didn't care whether we won or lost as long as it wasn't boring?
Don't tell me that isn't true and is just trotted out when we're losing games . . . . .

Now that sounds like plucking hell.
Saddened, a career in PR and marketing must surely await.

Two games ago there were people saying we wouldn't win another game. With this in mind it's a bit silly to expect a perfect performance away from home against a tough opponent.
Look on the bright side - we played some spectacular stuff and scored a lot of points. I'd say that's something to be happy about given all the griping which has gone on about "negative football".

| Seems interesting that the only coach who had a crack at the video ref was KC.

| This reminded me of the mid 90's days. I thoroughly enjoyed that. Obviously the defence was all over shop but that's the kind of expressive attacking play that i loved watching. Well done KC for letting them off the leash a bit.
I don't expect us to win trophies all the time, but I expect the entertaining rugby that was our trademark.

Whatever gets said about the game on Friday, I don't think anyone can suggest it was boring. End to end throughout with loads of points scored; similar to all our games against Cas this season in that respect.
We are at a stage of the season now where we need to be looking at building up that clinicalness going into the next few weeks. As the score shows, we showed some good signs with the ball IMO. Plenty of individuals came up with big plays for tries (Roby and Walmsley, Wilkin etc) and we threw the ball around a fair bit.
For me though, we need to be more clinical at times and defensively we were poor. I thought we defended well against Leeds but on Thursday we made it too easy for them. We have some huge games to come and we need to have that intent about us. At 18-0, I think, Wilkin was held up over the line. Chances like that need to be taken and for us to do well over the next few weeks we can't let 18-0 leads slip. You just can't do it and we need to develop that ruthless streak by taking our chances and doing the basics to a high level no matter what the score is.
Defensively we obviously need to improve for next week. We missed to many one on one tackles and it has been an issue for large parts of the season. We have struggled to contain sides who shift the ball and have an element of unpredictability, at times, about their play.
I'm just praying Walmsley is OK. He is a big, big part of what we do as a team and we need him fit and leading us forward.

Yes but what does it say about our game, top clubs and such weak defences? it ends up seeming more like tick rugby at times.

When its entertaining I,ve no problem with weak defences, give me fast open rugby any day rather than barging up the field, slowing down the PTB and then a kick.
