He did it very early on, and was stretching a lot in backplay and before he kicked. Small tear or tightness in the muscle I'd say. |

We were always going to get injuries and at some point we will lose a game.
I'd have no fear of resting Walsh next week.
Sia's looked bad, thought they would have carried him off rather than make him hobble.
With Sia and Wilkin out of the back row, a good game to let Flanaghan and Walker move into the second row.

Saints suffered three blows in the match and although Brown could confirm the nature of the injuries suffered, he wouldn't speculate on timescales.
"Jordan Turner has a hamstring problem, Luke Walsh is a calf and Sia has an issue with his knee. I don't think his will be long term.
"Walsh and Turner's are muscle injuries and I can't guess on the length of time out. We will know more next week.
"Both are hard to replace but Jon Wilkin took us to one point against a good Leeds team and he can slot in and do a job. We will head over to Wakefield and put a side together that we expect to play well."

It looks like Walsh, Turner and Sia will be missing for a while. Last year it would have been devastating but we do have depth this year and options.
Wheeler and Percy can cover the centre spot with ease.
We've got jones who can go back into the back row to cover Sia with also the likes of Flanaghan and Greenwood coming into contention.
The loss of Walsh is massive but I think we can grind a win out next week at wakey. |

If we can get Percy and Wheeler playing next week we should be OK, don,t forget we still have a monster, mobile pack, I would have been more worried if Amor and Walmsley were injured.

Basically what I've posted mate. We got options.
We can play wheeler and Percy centre and move jones back to the pack to cover sia. We've got Flanaghan and greenwood who can also cover the Back row.
We've got Wilkin and lomax who can cover Walsh.
Will we see Savelio (sp) next week ? |
