I think hearing matty smith on the teamsheet tonight would make me a whole lot more confident not because hes a brilliant player but he knows what hes doing and he will want to impress, and will look brilliant compared to some players we coule have there.
We have spirit but sometimes its hard for 'big' teams to get up for games v crusaders and harlequins...

I always thought it was the wrong choice to release Smiffy. Looks like the club are finally realising it too.
Wheeler should have gone and Smiff stayed.

Given you said at the start of the year that Wakefield's backs were better than ours, I'm not sure your opinion on player ability is up there with Wayne Bennett. |

They are not realising it's a mistake at all. It's a last gasp, last ditch resort; a sixth choice brought in because there simply is no other choice. |

didn't look any short of any spirtit last weekend. can't wait for tonight and for the person who says your not confident i think saints always go into he wire games always full of confidence and that has been the difference. if we beat you today i don't think you will go into the second game with as much confidence. trust me tonites game is big for the rest of the play-offs
