Quote: St pete "Vea was top class last night and his stats back that up. He's one player we do need to keep fit next year.

Flash, Geeenwood and Mose was poor! Their stats back that up. I have serious doubts if Greenwood is going to make it. He has time on his side but I do have my doubts.

Sav has had great season and great to see him sign new deal and this kid is going to be quality.'"

Vea really impressed me. Ran real hard all night and gets through a ton of work.

Greenwood will, imo, become an international in the coming years. Has all the physical attributes to get right to the top.Look at where he is now from this time last year and he has had a bad injury mid season after starting like a house on fire.

I'm willing to bet Greenwood will be at somewhere like Wakefield or Leigh in two seasons. I think KC hyped him up and he's not that good. I know he's a young lad but he's getting smashed every week apart from that short ball he runs so well, he won't get them short balls more than one/two times in a game. He's also very weak defender and gets knocked off far to often.

He's still young kid and still has time on his hands and I hope he does turn out to be the player you predict but I heard all this with tyrer, Josh Jones, Jamie foster, Ashurst, dixon etc and none have turned out for England or playing at a decent level now

Joe is not really aggressive enough, he could go two ways keep getting smashed and just surrender to it and start losing his place or say I,ve had enough of being smashed and start giving it back, the problem was he was originally going to be drip fed into the starting 17 but he put some good performances in those first 3 games so KC kept playing him ended up with quite a few injuries which also effected his mental toughness. Similar thing has happened with Sav, he had a part of the season when he wasn't very effective, he's doing a similar thing to Cloughy now waiting for the collision and trying to walk through the tackle, Sav is mentally a bit tougher though.

That's harsh on Greenwood. He's what 21/22 and look at the size of him. He will only get better and he's picked up a few injuries this season which hasn't helped in his development.

I wouldn't write him off just yet but it was a tough end to the season for him.

If you read, I did say he's got time on his side but I do worry about him. He's a liability in defence and he's getting killed with the ball.

This can't be good for his development

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_47035.gif

He's 21. Pack players tend to take a while to develop using that bulk and frame. I'd be judging him in 2 or 3 years. Should probably be a bench player not a starting second row.

The fact he is challenging for a starting place shows how well he is developing

I think they need to develop his offloading game next season, for such a big bloke with large limbs he is one of our worst off loaders in the pack, obviously this is because he 's being dominated at the tackle. It's our achilles heal at the moment being dominated and wrapped up in the tackle and killing the ball, lets hope Joe + Co can sort it out in the pre season.

We won 3 in a row in '06, '07 and '08. 06 Was brilliant, because we backed it up with the treble... But 07 and 08? Nah, they're still considered bad seasons because we lost in the grand final. Winning the challenge cup is nice on the day you win it but past that, it doesn't really hold much relevance. Good day out though.

As far as the video ref decision goes, I've got no problem with the decision as it's correct under the current rules... But the rule definitely needs looking at I think. We're making it easier and easier to score a try as time progresses when we should be going the other way! The RFL seem far too intent on making our game give the impression that it's "exciting" rather than letting it actually be. All of this "he's got his pink on it, it's a try" nonsense is just rewarding sloppy play where we should actually be rewarding SKILL. You should have to have control of the ball when grounding to score a try IMO. Hall had nothing like, but like I said, you don't need to atm. Soon they'll be saying that crossing the line is good enough as well. They've already removed the corner flags (although I do agree with that as it allows for much more exciting play, but it's still a further example of making things easier).

Surely it needs more than what Sean Long referred to as his "prawn" on the ball?!
