What's the point of on report, all the dodgy incidents are reviewed anyway, take it away and make the ref make a decision.'" I think tahts why they brought it in though pal as everyone used to whinge saying the ref got the call wrong back in the day. But that said I completely understand where your coming from though. It grates on me at times when you see it back on the screen and you see the ref in the same replay looking straight at the said incident and yet he's letting someone else make the call?? The head camera that they wear on there heads at times you see what the ref is seeing through that, and the players walking towards him for the call. I think what the video ref should do is look at that camera angle in the replay and if you can clearly see the call through the head cam then after the game the ref should be fined for not doing the job properly.

| Just simply make high tackles a binning offence, no need for a red unless it's severe contact and no need for a panel review. You get 10 minutes or the rest of the game on the sidelines and if it's red you get a further ban.

Granted, that freedom meant some of the stuff we tried didn't work, but some of it did. And it was a joy to watch Luke Walsh in action. I thought he was great for Penrith but he was fabulous for us because IMO he is just what we have been lacking'" .

My money's on building up reserves of bile for this season, and making a new shrine to Simmons

| I've just watched the game back. We looked pretty poor in that second half if I'm honest.

We was very poor. I said that straight after. The amount of mistakes and pens was awful.

It was really poor. Think we would have struggled to contain a comeback if we played someone half decent

We become to over confident with the ball and started forcing passes instead of sticking to simple rugby. Without being big headed or disrespectful to the wolves, we should have out a big big score on them after racking up them first half points.
It's only week one so might have been little rusty but still a great win.

Jordan Turner, in particular! He must have thought he was Jamie Lyon after that pass to Makinson for our first try

When your 20 points up in the first game of the season, I'd rather see us try things though! If in a couple of months time turner pulls of a flick pass again to win the game it'd be worth it. Warrington, inspite of the ball we gave them still never looked much like scoring in the second half - I was surprised to learn we did less tackling than them though.

A little bit harsh. We were scratchy with the ball and started trying things but we were 26-4 up after 45 minutes. I think the players took their foot off the gas knowing the game was won.
The pleasing aspect for me was the attitude and commitment in defence, something we've no really seen for a while. If we can replicate that kind of attitude and commitment to the defence we'll have a really good season.
Overall, I was very satisfied with Thursday's performance. I can't remember us starting the season that well for many years.

That's probably why we looked a little flat, but yes the defence was great throughout (bar their first try). They never looked like scoring and had to score through that fluke off the post!

Agree.
And, to take this a tad further, adopt the football principle that two yellows = a red.
