This is painful to listen to. Saints sound like a team low on confidence in attack, taking wrong options and failing to complete sets effectively.

From all accounts, wello was rubbish at stand off again. I'm getting pretty fed up of Brown just trying to fit wello into the 13. He's not good enough now, he's finished. |

I'm pretty sure Brown's got a lot of positives in his coaching skills, but he' s plainly a bit weird. |

Sadly I agree. I just don't see what Wellens brings to us anymore. It's purely sentimental to keep him in and if he gets a new contract I'll be extremely disappointed and amazed quite frankly.
Sounds like discipline was a problem and a lack of spark with the ball, maybe people who went can confirm this? Add in a determined Hull KR after last week with good players coming back for them and the result isn't really a surprise. We're missing key players and its hard for us at the moment. Lomax, Puletua, Roby and Manu are big losses to replace. |

Do you not think that today he was kept at 6 only because Lance wasn't up to playing 80mins first game back? (I'm hoping that was why)
Squad for Friday will be interesting, if we do have Lomax back at 1 with Swift moving into 6 today maybe that is an option that Brown is considering with Gardner/Makinson back on the wing.
Hull Kr were always going to bounce back after their "week off", but our discipline appears to have killed us and totally negated what sounded like a positive tackling display |
