We've no option but to accept him as our prop but he's done well and has probably been one of our most consistsnt players this year.

I would hope so. He certainly looks the part!

Totally agree. He's as near a replacement for Jammer as we could hope for.

I think anyone will accept him as a prop if he can do the props job. Same as people don't go on about Jamie Peacock previously being a 2nd rower. Some players can make an effective change of places in a team others struggle in the new role they are asked to play.
We are coming close to half a season so if you measure up La Frankis stats with any other prop in the league lets say JP then he's doing pretty well.

More tries,
Similar meters in less carries
Similar tackles made
less offloads
slightly more tackle busts
a few more penalties but less missed tackles.
So when compared to the England Captain and one of our best props, he's doing ok.

He is doing ok but it's a Shame we ain't got a big aggressive tough prop to partner him. I think we lack an aggressor in our pack. Our props a little to nice.

Perry is that prop, or at least so his reputation would suggest. Having said that we haven't has a prop in that mould for many a year. Who was the last big aggressive prop we had? Fogerty? Davidson? Fozzard?

Its also worth comparing him to Wigan superstar (sic) prop Lee Mossop
He stacks up very well there as well.
Franki may not be the best prop in the league but he is doing a top line job for us. We just need Perry to make that step up. So far he started off poor and then became a solid prop stopper, but he needs to start making the yards forward more effectively.

Sonny Nickle propped for us so I'd say he was our last aggressive prop. Jammer was aggressive to a certain degree as well.

| Quote: Saddened! "Magennis was great as well. He's a young player who gets a lot of flack, presumably for not being as good as James Graham. But he played really well tonight, running the ball strongly and putting in some crushing hits.
Dixon was his usual self, scored a belter of a try down the left channel and worked hard, he's such a classy player.
Forster I presume you mean rather than Foster? He did okay, didn't look out of place. '"
I was cursing come 60 minutes that we hadn't brought Forster on for a run, but then I realised, the game time was probably better used for Magennis.
He's a player a haven't made my mind up about. He's built like a little tank, but I feel he struggles to compete physically when going forward, struggling for yards in contact and ending up on his back too often. However, he's got good feet, a nice offload and likes to stick the shoulder in hard when tackling, so as he develops a bit physically, he could turn into a very good allround prop.
Forster, albeit for short minutes, looked very at ease. A couple of good drives and looked solid in the tackle. I think he should be looking at going out on loan.
Dicko's try was nice, who copped the hand-off from him?
I thought our best performers were actually the lads who played some of the least minutes, Laffanchi and Soliola.
The team as a whole played very well, especially to keep Widnes to 0. The only compliants I had are a rather indifferent long kicking game and I felt a couple of times we weren't getting it wide at teh right times.

Who stuck the nut on cowie? Was that not fogerty? Matautia gave us some bite although not necessarily a prop. I honestly don't think a side can afford to have a player like sonny anymore. He would lose too many tight games, a bit like Moore in the GF.

Adam foggerty butted cowie.
Vila was a centre when we signed him.

We signed him on tge strength of him demolishing saints from centre playing for Oldham, but I seem to remember him fairly quickly moving into the pack. Did he play prop? And has he still got a bar in town?

He came from Doncaster mate, he was there when the steroids was part of the supplement plan given to the players.
Jamie bloem and a old skinny backrow pennant was also part of the steroid freak of a team that turned us over at Knowsley road
