| Quote: dirtbag83 "You really think Graham will stay in the UK just because he doesn't want to leave his mates behind? I honestly don't believe that but if it's true he's a bit of a sad act. Refusing to test yourself in the toughtest RL competition on the planet to stay in St. Helens with his pals so he can go and get p*ssed on Westfield Street? Sincerely doubt it'"
A few years back my girlfriend took the oppotunity to do a work placement in Vancouver for two years. She loved the place and the culture and some of the stories she tells do make it sound like a wonderful place. She also was regarded well at work.
However, while she was there, her father came down with a bout of glaucoma (or some similar eye related problem) and spent over a week in hospital completely blind. Her family didn't tell her until he was out and on the mend because they knew she couldn't do anything from the other side of the world.
She know is adamant that she'll never live anywhere that mean if something like that happened then she can't just get in the car and drive to them. (she doesn't live in their pockets, she now lives in Liverpool and they live in Telford)
The thought of not being there should her mum, dad, sister or heaven forbid her young neice need her far outweighs any other issue.

| Wish FM said he had signed, but can't find anything on any websites. I think they also said it was a 3 year deal.

Thing is thats your opinion - James Graham like any person looking at employment oportunities has to weigh up pro's and con's - its a personal choice and if he's settled where he is with his family and friends earning good money that might be enough for him.

I hope you're right, but Fairleigh came after being named NRL front rower of the year.....
