Not when they're releasing Perry due to salary cap restrictions, i'd say.

According to the Long interview on the Sporting Life site, Meli is expected to be moving on at the end of the year.

I've no problem with that given we have Lomax and Foster seemingly ready to move into the spot.

If you look at the salary Burgess accepted, it's not impossible. Perhaps Jammer is wanting to go and will take a pay cut. They lose one of their highest paid players and get someone in for half that.

All speculation though, but having both of them just seems a bit dreamworldy to be. Unless the plan is to step it up as we move to Widnes and have a storming season.

It's not 'dreamworldy' depending on who leaves Saints. Gidley and Cunningham will be leaving and they will be on good wages as will Meli who will probably leave. Cunningham wont be replaced as we have Moore and Roby, so we have money to spend elsewhere in the squad. Prop and Centre has to be our priority I would say. A new winger would be nice too, but maybe Foster or Armstrong will be given the chance?

at the end of the season it has laready been announced that gidley, fozzard and cunninghsm will be leaving, now it looks like meli will be leaving to, this will free up a MASSIVE amount of room on the salary cap

shenton coming in to replace gidley (if not wheeler)
perry to replace fozzard
sign eastmond up on a LONG contract
roby and moore to replace cunningham
sign a new winger to replace meli if not replace him with foster/armstong/lomax

I very much doubt Manly can afford to take Graham if they have to flog Perry due to salary cap restrictions. Graham would cost more than Perry without I doubt. I reckon we'll see these two lining up together year wearing 8 and 10 for Saints.

If true, very, very nice

IF this is true, Id be made up. It MUST be possible with KC, Gids, Meli and Fozz leaving. Our strength in the pack would be immense and a 3/4 line to be picked from Gardner, Foster, Wheeler, Soliola, Shenton, Williams and Armstrong would be very good and, more importantly, serve us for years to come.

Just need to sign Kyle up on a 10 year deal!!!
