If so we can give Wells some stick on Friday?'"
It was P Charlesworth, G Hallas & N McAvoy that banned Perry. The appeal is heard by R Grant, J Wells & N Turley, who, if they are the former players, may knock some sense into the case.

So are the G Hallas and N McAvoy not Graeme Hallas formerly a Halifax player and Nathan McAvoy formerly of Bradford?

| No surprise there. The RFL is made up of an amateurish bunch of idiots.

| To be fair, it was worth a ban, he did punch the chap. It was also worth it for the entertainment value. Best bit of entertainment in the whole game

But didn't the chap also start the fracas and punch more times than Perry? And did he get banned? And did he deserve his ban?
It's a load of bollows.

Well apparently Perry started it but he started it with a push, not a punch. If that is the case (I didn't see how it began) then I now expect to see all players who push other players (or indeed, punch them) cop a ban. But that won't happen of course and that's because the RFL is a bunch of amateurs and no-one is challenging them.
Bloody stupid, it is.

No he didn't get banned; he got a £300 fine. He got to stand outside the headteacher's office whereas Perry got to go in.

| again, to be fair my take on the incident was that the crusaders player thought he'd try and rough up perry in the tackle, this was either brilliant (to provoke him and get a penalty) or masocistic as perry is a brawler, and a bloody good one. I think it was intentional to wind him up, it worked JP pushed him over (first penalty there), the chap retaliates (your getting called up for that and its just stupid) then Perry proceeds to nearly knock his head off (at this point he was always getting banned and one game, in an unbiased view is lucky for us).
Anyway JP is known for being a brawler, and needs to calm down and be a bit more professional. If he'd taken the punch and laughed at the crusaders player we would have had the penalty and Perry could have earned his ban properly with an excellent rematch against the other JP this Friday!

Sorry, but I think that's tosh!
I loved the biff. It sparked up the fans, put life into the match and was just a case of two big blokes sorting out their differences. Now Perry has to be more careful and that's a shame because it could make him less of an aggressive forward for us.
The RFL is pathetic.
