Which would suggest that the £200k Warrington have spent on Myler is not that bad a deal.
No doubt there will be plenty that will say Tomkins and Eastmond are the better prospects however Myler's stats stand-up to comparison against either of those and the England coach certainly considered Myler the better option. In fact at the age Myler is now Tomkins had yet to play a single Super League match.
So if Wigan fans wouldn't sell Tomkins for £250k and no doubt Saints fans would say the same with Eastmond I can't see how Warrington can be considered to have overspent at £200k for Myler.
