He could be devastating when he was interested, especially on the inside ball off Goulding.

On his day, though, he could mix it with the best of them.

We really need one of those players now though. It makes me want to vomit when Wane comes out with these comments about how his players will protect little Sam because there are so many trying to hurt him, yet three or four of the biggest thugs in the league are Wigan players. (Hock, McIllorum, Frodo and Lima). We've got no one who will stand up to that physical aggression like we always used to have and we get bullied.

I'd prefer a sonny Nickle. He was big, fast, agressive, never gave up and hard as nails.
