44308_1279480467.gif Mugwump mocking mental illness for a second time -
"You are mentally ill and I can't indulge your madness any more"
Utter disgusting abusive remark from a keyboard warrior:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_44308.gif |

| Quote: The Chief "The trouble is, EMcM has spent poop@ loads on a fantastic stadium, the whole town have got behind them and made good on their promise by turning up in drives for season tickets only to find they eye has been well and truly taken off the ball when it comes to the product on the field. Anyone with premier sports last season would tell you Laffranchi was another club man and wouldn't fill Jammers shoes, but let's face it, who could? It just seems none of the front towers can play longer than 15min spells, but I did see LMS ask KC why he'd been subbed, and KC said he didn't know.'"
KC should have replied "because you've done nothing again like you've done all year and your not fit to lace the likes of jammers boots"
LMS isn't good enough.

we'd have been better off signing Hill from Leigh but hey ho - tbh we still have a good enough squad if we were better coached ...

| I thought that Puletua and Soliola were by far your best players tonight, both looked dangerous. You also made some good kicks, turned our fullback on quite a few occasions. I'd agree with many of your comments about Wellens, too, I thought that he was poor tonight.
Saints' discipline was poor in the second half. Whilst the ref missed quite a few infringements by both sides (but, let's face it, we don't want a Child performance) it's inexcusable for a side to give away several penalties in their own half when the scores are even. I would imagine Simmons, and your fans, were furious about this.
Obviously Roby was a big loss for you tonight and there's still a big hole where Graham was (he's nigh on irreplaceable).
I thought that Saints were the better side in the first half but that Hull were superior in the second.
The crowd probably made a psychological difference to the players, seemed that the home support were very quiet (although there was some w[size.[/sizeanker in the Hull end that insisted on chucking his beer over everyone at every try/penalty/conversion)
Not to do with the game but do any of you guys get frustrated with the farces that were happening at the turnstiles?

| Some of you Saints fans need to get a grip.
I can't see you winning a GF, but you haven't actually got a bad side.
There are are obvious issues but some of those can be dealt with pretty easily and you've got some very talented young players coming through.
Looking at some of the issues:
Wellens has never been a world beater (I know you won't admit this, but it's true ). He has unquestionably been a great servant to your club and is a fantastic professional, but his lack of pace has always been an issue and now it is just time for him to be retired gracefully. In the Saints sides of the noughties his awareness and reading of the game covered up his lack of basic speed and he wasn't asked to do as much in defence, now that the team has declined and he has slowed down even further he simply cannot play at top level.
It sounds like your forwards just need a rollicking. What you need is someone senior on the coaching staff who can deliver the required attitude adjustment, the ideal would be a home town lad who played prop for the club and is known for his uncompromising standards and passion for the club. So, a Saints version of Wane, basically...
And then there's the coaching situation. Not sure how easy it would be to get a top coach in now the season is underway. Do you really want to start chopping and changing? This is the toughest call.

| Very short term answer would be to get KC to play again bit like Scholes at Man U quality players always give you something i didn't see last nights game but against us you lacked a leader who will grab the rest and bring them with him !!

1649_1338292262.jpg I have followed the LONDON CLUB since I was in my teensl even though born in St Helens and still live nearby and went to the first game at Fulham, also Big West Ham Supporter:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_1649.jpg |

| How quickly the tide turns! when it was first mooted that LMS was on his way from London, you didn't need him! then when he arrived the same people were praising him, but then you had a full pack, not one or two carrying the rest! and now he is not good enough! sad!
I will pay LMS his first class train ticket back to London!
Calm down and look deeper at the problem, as many have said the Eye has been on the stadium and nothing else, perhaps like our young rookie coach Simmons may not be good enough or out of his depth.

| I'm really amazed at some of you doom and gloom saints fans, don't be so fickle. Yep your on a bad run and losing last night to us has magnified some areas for improvement, but its not the end of the world.
it's in the Saints genes that you will come good, you may be going through a transitional phase but talk of not being top 8 !!! Give me a break. You'll be there or there or there abouts when all the points are tallied up.
World class replacement props and scrum halves do not grow on trees and you'll just have to be patient and get it right slowly, as you always have done, before you are back at the top of the tree. No one has a devine right, not even St Helens. but your side needs real support to get you through this seasonal blip, and your young starlets need it too before you break them. Just get real, stay with it , look longer term and you'll be marching in again before you know it, just maybe not this year. Patience gentlemen. You've only had 20 years of on and off success it could be worse, a lot lot worse.

Give over, grandad. When Flanagan left Wigan to go to Wests you were hopping about in your zimmer telling everyone what a loss it was to the club and how well he was playing. Indeed, it was you who brought to our attention his first grade NRL game (I remember because I followed the link). Now, you might want to deny any or all of this but the fact remains that you said it. Stop being so tedious you fool.

And what?

| We start slow and weve lost a couple of games by the odd point that we could easily have pinched in previous years.
Without robes and without us suddenly clicking highly likely we will get beaten up badly in the next few games.
Our recruitment and retention of players for the last few years has been mediocre.
Im not sure how much better a different coach could do with squad on current form.
We do have some great talent and we will find form as we try to peak later in the year.
At the top of our game were still a match for the Wigan Leeds and Wire in one off.
