Where is the mishap? It seems like a pretty easy choice to me. Catalans have a terrible record at headingly and finished 8th in the table, so consistency isn't their strong point.
Anhy team is going to be tough 80 minutes away from a grand final but you'd rather face catalans, than wigan/kr.

If results have been skew wiff it's nothing more than bar Leeds everyone has been crap! but this title is far from won! Leeds look untouchable right now but it didnt do saints any good last year did it?

See this is where I am in doubt. Depending on a K.R victory which is what your seeming to say then it goes that Leeds will choose Catalans. That would be an all out forward battle and judging by the way Cat's played tonight it would result in Biff, Injuries, uncertainty and a result that would be doubtful. Leaving the winner bereft of players in a grand final scenario. You could say in all fairness that the Dragons would be overly fatigued and the result would be a walk over but I would point out your previous comments about the week off syndrome. Either way its still what I love to call the drop and cough factor |

See I thought the same way as well But I kind of get the feeling that, although as a coach you can sort of predict where things are going, and you can play potential scenario's about what if this team or that team wins their decider and what state of squad makes it though you can't really predict what kind of state of mind that given team will be in. Its the unknown factor that makes any given player be truly awesome on one day and truly awfull on the next. It's that pep talk sometimes that can make the difference between the bottle and the bravado and it's the success run that makes it, look at Wigan in the last play off runs, it was always the final hurdle but the difference this time is the top dog gets to call the contender and this could be the classic whoopsie and the "cold blooded" slap in Blueys face that would make the hard core fan s and shout lol lol lol lol
Or is that too much of a facade to cling to? |

I agree that Leeds getting beat by Catalan would be a monumental capitulation to rival some of saints more recent Offerings!
