| Quote: Enicomb "The cheering when Solomona hit was bad.'"
Plenty of Bradford fans were cheering when Fa'asavalau was wobbling after being hit by Burgess.
It was just that there were so few of them you probably didn't hear it on the tv, or in any other stand come to think of it, but they were cheering.

You're right I didn't hear that. But it was so audible for Solomona even Eddie mentioned it.
I did notice something about the hit on fa'as though, Silverwood didn't demand the ball be passed to another player for play to continue instantly like he did after Wilkn throttled Sheriffe.

| Quote: Ski "And the lads singing Die Die Newton, please don't return. I'd rather have 500 off the audience than be associated with, and labelled as, your kind.
Booing an abject display from a side who have set the standard for nigh on 5 years now? Get a grip, we are going to lose some.
Singing about Newton is one thing, it was 5 years ago. Most of you, if you took the blinkers off, would take him at S next season any day. On top of that, wishing death upon someone?'"
Ski preach all you want but unfortunately:
1) You won't stop that song by posting on here (or by any other means for that matter)
2) There where SIGNIFICANTLY more than 500 singing it.
Also we were very very bad in parts tonight. If the members of the scaff feel the need to boo then let them they paid their money.
If I had paid best part of £200 for a season ticket this year, if I thought they were a shower of $hite I'd tell em too.
If I were on, Longs/KC/etc.. wages I'd take the criticism too, if fact I'd stay behind for half hour after the game just to take it.
All in all very bad day at the office didn't deserve the win.

I don't doubt it, but as has been said, most teams fans do it for minor injuries.

Sheriffe was taking the mick a touch I thought, he didn't know whether to rub his neck, or the back of his head, or both.

| Never heard them singing 'die Newton', so they can't have been that many... or being that loud.
And whilst I thought us lot were very vocal tonight, I bet no one could hear us in the pop side, as there was only about 50 of us!

| Posted a similar thread about our fans on SS. Didnt realise you guys were booing the team though. Only heard them towards Silverwood
Anyway, Leeds and Sts were 2 and 1 leading into the game yet they are getting booed when losing. What gets me though is that its probably the people who had a go at the Wire fans for the same thing. God help us when we go through a rough patch (which will happen) and our clubs are at the opposite end of the ladder.

Yes we didn't win, yes its disappointing but I don't agree with booing the players no matter what, it achieves nothing.
And as for the die newton die - some players need to learn to move on and stop holding grudges.

Well, it probably makes the booers feel better and it also lets the team know that some people were not too happy with the performance, which probably could be said for just about every fan last night. I was bemused myself, especially when they started playing backwards. It was so bizarre I found myself laughing a lot at the sight of Saints running closer and closer to Bradford's tryline when in fact they were supposed to be running towards their own. I did try to remind them that they were supposed to be going the other way, but they didn't seem to hear me.
All in all it was a strange night but no doubt Bradford out-enthused and out-played us and deserved their win.

| There were definately boos for the team. These people must be empty heads.YES it was a shocking performance but we are top of the league FFS. These are SL era spoilt ba5tards. I bet supporters of other clubs would love to be ' only' 4 points clear at the top ! We cannot expect to run over teams week in week out. Bradford were bound to put in a good performance after being embarassed last week at Odsal. Fair play to the Bulls they dominated the ruck and bossed our pack.
As for the Die Newton chants firstly I wouldn't give him the attention and given recent events in the game it seems in even poorer taste than it ever was before.
Its a real pity more of their fans didn't make the trip to witness it. It was one of the poorest away turnouts ever.
