If kc retires at the end of the year then IMO he is not ready to take over from kc.

We will never ever b able to replace kc but we need to find a player that get near what we are used to.

That means he has to be massive in defence, move us round the park. For me tho kc is the cornerstone of are defence.

Moore is not ready! Maybe he will be down the line but at this moment in time he ain't.

We are nevr going to replace like for like with KC he is a one in 50yrs player, let alone at saints quite possibly the best player ever for saints. Scott Moore has good distribution, can tackle, and run at defences. If we had never had KC we would be calling him the next best thing.

I just don't think he is good enough at the mo.

Don't get me wrong tho I'd love Moore to relace kc but not sure he is the player to at this moment in time.

Kc is so good and hard in defence it's the perfect foil for roby.

Maybe if kc does another year it would be good Idea to bring Moore back. Who better to learn from and it wouldn't make sense just to throw Moore in.

I do think Moore got great hands tho.

Another idea that has been banded about is Matty smith to 9 and eastmond 7. LuLu at wigan is a similar type of player and got a world cup winners medal playing there so it a definite possibility

What do you suggest? Buying a journeyman Aussie? That worked well for Wigan for many years, didn't it?

Ok, if he isnt ready, who would you put in if he retires at the end of the year who is 1) better than Moore 2)availiable.

If he is the sort of class player and is good enough now to replace kc then why is he out on loan at hudds?

Teams don't loan out sure fire cert good young players.

IMO(ski) saints have sent him out on loan as a trial to see how good he is. That shows saint ain't 100% certain he up to the job.

It's not my job to say who can replace Moore. It's down to potter and saints scouts to see what's available.

All I said is Moore ain't a kc style player and Moore wouldn't fill the hole that kc would leave but I doubt any player I know could replace him.

I can't put into words what a big player kc is for us.

If saints was so sure of Moore he would be at saints now learning from the master before he hands over the 9 shirt

Because we have KC, there is no place for him currently, if we thought he had no future, we would have sold or released him. Putting him on loan gets him first team experience in superleague.
Again, who would you have next year if KC retires? Noone is sayiny Moore is as good as KC that would be madness but he IMO is the best avaliable.
