Jeez, how the mighty have fallen? I remember when trophies used to excite Saints fans. Now, not losing a player to Wire results in wet dick. 
On a serious note, it's good that you've been able to retain him. It would make a mockery of the comp if all the best players just went to the clubs that win the trophies. |

Warrington have a fascination with our players. First Graham now TP, but the fact is, neither had any desire to play for the wolfs. Sure they get our cast offs like Lee Briers, Micky Higham and Vincent Anderson, but the decent players would never lower themselves

From what I have heard that we were not in the running for TP and that it was just speculation and maybe the Wire being used to bump up his bargaining power. |

So first of all the wire fans were claiming he had defo signed for warrington a la James Graham, even though TP went on record as saying it was either saints or the NRL, pretty much laughing off these rumours. Now hes re-signed, the wolfs fans are claiming they were only interested to bump up his wage. Thats reem!
Anyone who knows McMmanus will know he doesnt play these games. He will have a wage in mind for TP and if TP could have gotten more elsewhere, see ya later dude, but dont let that get in the way of our little wolf friends fantasy
