The whole debacle has been mishandled, and bar the walking off on Friday, I'm not convinced it's all been down to him despite him getting all the blame. I think the delay in the announcement has been due to a combination of factors, but mostly his adviser (who let's not forget has previous with us) and the club.

Booing / abusing him from the terraces can only have a negative impact on the team, and whatever your thoughts on his decision and manner in which he went about making it, there are 16 other blokes out there in the red vee who are worthy of playing in front of positive support.

You might feel he's shown a lack of class by turning his back on the club that has invested in him at virtually the first opportunity, but we can rise above it as fans - and must do to prevent the rest of the season descending into pantomime.

Apparently, he has always wanted to play union, that must be why he has played League since the age of 11...

To be honest what do you really expect him to say? If it really is all about money he'd hardly come out and say it. It just makes me laugh when those jumping ship talk about 'challenges' when in many cases they haven't actually done/won anything much in league. If you want a 'challenge' how about a really big one - trying to help England compete with Australia in RL.
