I think what jts was alluding to was that it seems that you have more of a chance of being given a Saints scholarship if you play for Blackbrook than if you play for Bold.
It used to be the same with St. Pats at Wigan.
To all those connected with Bold, if there are any more Liam Carberrys down there that Saints don't want, just send then to Wigan.  |

It's a real shame that there is still this fixation with Blackbrook. It seems to be the case that you need to be extra special to get a scholarship if you're at any other club.
There are some decent kids playing for other St Helens clubs in next seasons U 15's that have been overlooked by saints who could end up snapped up by the likes of Wigan, Warrington, Widnes etc. just because they dont play for Brook. |
