I hope he hits the ground running but that's a hell of a injury to come back from. The good thing is he doesn't really rely on pace and doesn't really take the line on so hopefully his brain and ball skills will carry him thru.

From experience I know you're right in saying its a tough injury to come back from but fingers crossed he can.

Fortunately it's not his kicking leg either so hopefully that side of his game should be OK too.

he will always have his brain and hands and that never leaves a player but lucky for Luke he didn't need pace the way he plays.

Meanwhile, Lance and Burns can keep us ticking over. Superleague standard is pretty poor last couple of year so I can,t see a couple of teams going on a good Long run of wins to go out of distance.

Which clubs would they be? The standard of play by Saints is poor, with the exception of the odd half. We will be very lucky to beat Wire this week, given they like to give us a good drubbing at LP.

Our pack went very soft last season, this time around they are a much tighter unit with KC/Long concentrating on defence, I don,t think Warrington will find it as easy as last year. If they can negate Ratchford and Westwood then the game can be won.

I wouldn,t say the Saints standard of play is poor, I would prefer to say they have not reached there potential because of injury dissruption.
