without trawling thro all the posts on this subject,I think the "Knowsley stadium" sounds great,as it will have ties in with the old place & one of our current big sponsors namely Knowsley safari park.i know it will have the stadium bit in it but will we be able to get it with just one name.the stadium bit gets it neatly rounded off imo.

Sorry but the Knowsley Stadium is rubbish. For a start it's not in Knowsley and has nothing to do with Knowsley. There's just no connection between Knowsley and Knowsley Road. [size=50Apart from the word Knowsley obviously[/size

Kit-wise I'd like the single broad red hoop for the home kit and the sky blue & chocolate hoops for the away.

How sure is everyone that the stadium will actually get a sponsor. How do you know they won't name it "Saints Stadium/Park/Field", for instance?

I'm sure. Given that we have pulled Typhoo out of the bag for our shirt sponsor, I'm sure we have pulled other sponsors out of the bag as well, including for the stadium. Saints are regularly on free to air and Sky TV, and have been in semis and finals every season since 2006. Even though RL is a minority sport, Saints have a big presence within it and sponsors will like that. Once the new season is upon us, the new stadium will be totally finished and will get lots of media attention. I think sponsoring our stadium will be an excellent opportunity for a company of any size, local or national.
