45465_1384791340.jpg And last but not least, to all those people who wrote this team off.
To all those people who critisized this team...tonight's for you.

| Just to blow away any delusional ideas that us SL supporters had that the "top" teams can compete with Oz are being crushed this weekend (possibly with the exception of the Pies). Maybe we'd have been better waiting until a week ago to decide who was playing them so at least Hull and Wire would have stood more chance than Leeds and Saints

Are you getting confused with the Salford game and now starting to cherry pick half by half.

| Our club from top to bottom was found out when we never even knew the rules for the free play. Were a joke at the minute.

1649_1338292262.jpg I have followed the LONDON CLUB since I was in my teensl even though born in St Helens and still live nearby and went to the first game at Fulham, also Big West Ham Supporter:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_1649.jpg |

| It was a simple "Walk in The Park" for the Roosters, a team with no serious match action, just pre season training, no competitive games, new line up and just so easy. The Saints team has so many players simply not good enough, players start off well and look done in so quickly after just a few breaking runs, one drop out in the second half a forward was still walking back to the line?
Does the blame rest with the coach, was he pushed too quickly, should he have had more time as an assistant, a good player does not always make a coach! there have been some bad cheap signings, who made them was it the owner, Rush or the coach?
The dreary singing of the Saints tune when in the ground sounds more like a funeral song from Chicago, a big night in the end was a flop, except for those who admire & respect some Aussie players and their style.

What's changed in the last 3 years, surely neither competition has change quality too much?
2012 beat pretty much a full many team
2013 lose by a couple of points to a full Melbourne team, in a game where we actually bombed a couple of tries and was missing Hardaker
2016 SL teams dont have a chance??????

I think Superleague has degraded much more than the NRL, we have also got NRL with almost double the salary cap of super league se we are not getting world class overseas imports. NRL say super league is a bit faster but super league lacks a lot of intensity, has long periods of rest periods through wrestling slow play the ball, forming a scrum, dead ball kick outs, video refs etc.etc
We might get half a dozen super league games which stand out but overall its below par to attract any attention from the media and high profile sponsors.

Makes the awful world series even worse and when the cowboys hammer Leeds it will be 6-0 to the NRL.

I agree. Can't wait to see the aggregate score from the 3 games and then hear whst the very very pro world series campaigners have to say.
This good for rugby league? Lol

One for the history books, if Leeds lose I think its only Saints who will have the record of being World Club Champions after winning a treble and I don't think that will be repeated again.

| The Aussies (& Kiwis) are always going to have the advantage in any such fixture. Better players. Better competition. We can win. But it's unrealistic to expect us to do so year after year.
I'm not a big fan of the fixture. But I think it would be a mistake to deprive the youngsters especially the opportunity to test themselves against the best.

Still think it's good for the sport of rugby league ?
That's 6-0 in the series now to the NRL and all 3 this year was big big scores. It's embarrassing and needs scrapping.
We are miles behind them and not getting anywhere near them.

| I think the SL needs to increase the cap if we want our top teams to compete, the cap relative to inflation has gone down in recent years and the poorer teams are holding us back
Theres enough quality in SL to beat NRL teams but it gets spread out by the salary cap, if the top players all played for the 5/6 teams who could afford it then they would be as good as NRL teams
If the NRL is the premier league then we should aim at being La Liga, where the league on the whole isnt that good but the top teams in the world are in that league
It would mean a less competitive SL but the players would improve by playing superior opposition on a regular basis, leading to a better international team as well
If the international tea got better then there would be more TV money in SL and eventually the weaker teams would catch up
