I disagree. He showed glimpses tonight of far far more quality than Ashe showed in his handful of games.

| I'd like to see our partnership going forward as O'Brien and Turner. I think both played well and given a chance to work together we could see some good organisational plays coming out of them. O'Brien very comfortable with ball in hand and Turner better than other options coupled with a good running game. I'm not sure Jones is the answer at centre, his passing is far too erratic for me.

| We are probably the worst team in superleague with the ball. No threat whatsoever.
Fair play to turner tonight, thought he was very lively.

| Brown doesn't have any answers to the mess we are in.

This. Turner looked half decent at 6 and with a step like his then he could do well.
Attack is pretty dire, Robes is having to double pump the ball before a receiver is identified. Tough when there is nobody putting their hand up and asking for it.
This is getting lower each week.

| O'Brien had two try assists with a couple of very nice passes for Wilkin and Jones. He also made some beautiful long and short balls in general play. People knocking him and comparing him to Ashe may want to watch the game back a bit closer.

I have to completely disagree. Turner should be at centre where he has played well.

For me, we have to play wilkin in the halves with O'Brian. He needs some experience with him and Wilkin is the best we got. Turner played ok tonight but he's not going to move us around the field as he's a runner, he basically played the stand off role as he plays the centre.

His passing was far superior to anything Ive seen from Ashe or any other makeshift half we've tried. Hopefully we'll keep him and he'll settle in.

| I agree about he plays well at but is the balance of the team not better with him at stand off? I guess when Lomax comes back he'll be the running pivot which means Turner can move back to centre.

| Talking about Lomax I think if you put him in the team today we could have won against the odds. I counted 2 or 3 occasions when Wellens chimes into the line and died with the ball. In the exact same scenario I think that had that been Lomax there was a good chance he could score, there were gaps outside big players that he would have had the evasiveness to exploit.

The fear I have is where will we desperately try to wedge Wello in when Lomax goes to fullback.

Not even that. Only trained for three days.
Why the flock Brown had to change half the team around to facilitate him though is beyond me. We don't stand a chance against the second team in the league when nobody knows who is playing where or what they are doing. Brown is bloody stupid in this respect and is undermining our chances week in, week out.
There can be no excuses this time. We had enough quality out there to at least challenge for the win. But the quality hadn't got a clue what it was supposed to be doing and we were all at sea as a result and that's Brown's responsibility IMO.
