There are pictures of Slater with blood on his ear, there is video of what looks like a bite and there is the fact that Jammer is pleading guilty www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/leag ... z283mDhjhL ,anyone need anymore evidence ? Or are we going to have another spate of Slater is a fibber ?

I am sure CSI could take a plaster cast of slaters ear nibble and match it a plaster cast of Graham's gob. That whiny bird from csi Miami could do it. Probably take a DNA swab too. And check for gsr...

Quote: McClennan "Well it was being said yesterday that there was blood present on Slater's ear. That would be pretty damning if true.'"

Not really. There was a mass brawl happening. I'm sure lots of people got blood on them. A game of rugby league had been happening just before the mass brawl and most players get blood on them as a result of the game, never mind a mass brawl.

A bite mark on Slater's ear would indeed be damming. However, Slater/Melbourne Storm has opted not to produce any pictoral evidence to present to the disciplinary committee.

Most players dont get blood on them though otherwise they would be constantly swapping shirts and being taken from the pitch for treatment,Slater has blood on his ear, there are pictures of Slater with blood on his ear, what are the odds of getting blood there by accident when no other player in that brawl was cut ?

Quote: Smurf "Of course he had a nibble. It was plain to see.

But, where does it say he has plead or is pleading guilty? Are you a Sun or Daily Mail reader who can't decipher between a sensationalist storyline and what has actually happened? As far as I see it, Canterbury nor Graham have said anything.'"

Ok he is expected to plead guilty

How do you know no other players in the brawl were cut? YOu have no idea whether they were or not because nobody took a picture of anybody else did they?

And where did these pictures of Slater's ear come from anyway? I've seen two now, and they look different from each other.

And how do we know they are true representations of the injury? He isn't presenting any pictoral evidence at the hearing and so all that is available is what is flying around the Internet. How reliable are pictures found on the Internet?

Wrong again.

A certain Australian newspaper in their online article has posited that he is expected to plead guilty. That is all.

Because it is ONE PAPER who is saying that he is expected to plead guilty.

Nobody else has said anything of the sort.

By just stating that he is expected to plead guilty you are giving the impression that that is fact. It isn't. It's just one paper speculating.

Only one paper ? no they all are and not without reason.Anyway im done talking to you,as usual your head in the sand approach to anything is annoying.

It does not matter what any of us think as non of us infuence the panel that will sit on this case, that majority of people that saw the incident think there was a bite and if the majority of the panel think the same, conclusive evidence or not then there will be a ban.The only thing Jammer could say is he isnt a dirty player and it was a spur of the moment rush of blood.

I always know when people are getting desperate as they resort to stupid personal insults.

I take it you have read all the Australian papers then. Well done you!

I prefer to wait until the verdict has been announced by the NRL before condemning someone when the evidence provided is in fact inconclusive. Unlike you and some others, I have no wish to be part of the lynch mob.

Quote: William Eve "Got any straw left for construction purposes? I haven't painted Bailey as a model professional at all. In fact I don't particularly rate him as highly as many Leeds fans do. Doesn't put in the hits or make sufficient meters for my liking. Very good at the niggly stuff and getting under opposition players skin though. Just ask the incessantly whining John Wilkin and he'll confirm that.

I simply asked you to provide evidence of Bailey's track record on untoward behaviour such as biting. You chose to make an example of him as having a clear track record of having indulged in similar - if not worse - and then by association, placed him on a par with Hock (gouging). Now I'm quite sure that Bailey has no clear track record of ever biting or gouging any other player on the pitch - unlike Hock - or as will become apparent fairly soon in the case of Graham.

Your belated two word reference to Bailey's teenage spell in a youth offenders unit for street brawling outside a nightclub alongside three other players dishing it out among themselves is further evidence of your desperate argument.

Do you need any more straws? Point proven, Bailey has a track record when it comes to his reputation and an incident involving Graham is more surprising as it is out of character. Is that in plain english enough for you or is it still a little bit too difficult you to understand??

Quote: William Eve "Your presentation at Lancashire CCC prior to last years GF was more impressive than what you've presented here. Hope you enjoyed your free ticket and goody bag
I have absolutely no idea what this has got to do with anything but in answer to your question, yes, I had a great time at the Grand Final as a guest of Engage. I had a fantastic meal in the exec box and great seats to watch the game.....but then I guess you would already know that.

Im genuinely made up that I have a stalker! icon_biggrin.gifANCE:

I think you are being far to sensitive and protective! are you telling me of all the live games you have been to you have never shouted high tackle or trip ref! that is making a judgement on what you have seen! You are being emotive with the use of lynch mob.

What is good these days is that most games are filmed even when not on TV, but being such an high profile final there would be camera's at all angles, with video you can watch over and over again and it looks highly suspicious when you look at Graham's face and the anger with his mouth open and going towards Slater's ear.

Are you saying then when Slater went to the referee and showed the blood coming from his ear he had made it up? to get a fellow professional into very serious trouble.

We are not judge and jury, that will be decided Thursday this week, but the evidence does not look good but that is just opinion and forums like this have plenty of that whatever you may thing. It just shocks me with James Graham.
