It's more likely the case that in these games they ignore coaches instructions to a degree and play using their experience.

McDermott must have put yesterday's game plan together, I doubt kev Sinfield just decided to kick Wigan to death.

McDermott has took loads of stick over past two years but his tactics was spot on yesterday.

He gets it right in the big games more often than not.

If it had been Saints who had been robbed by Thaler with some shocking decisions it would have been 50 pages! Agree though Leeds were the better team on the day, players like Burrows at hooker?? and Sinfield who I rate highly, though many don't, though I always remember how Knowsley Road never liked Andy Farrell and he had true talent!
