| Some of the comments at the end of this rlFox News reportrl are amusing, albeit in a fairly low grade way.

| The big joke is the RFL allowing the game to be brought down to the level of being played on Leeds Beach, sorry soil and in a ground which has such a low capacity, when you compare some of the attendances at other world cup challenge matches, Huddersfield could have held 25,000 and a great pitch!
Some of out fans, well the usual 3 or 4 were saying how Brian Mac was laughing at us letting him go! my reply was he should have gone well before he did and been sacked, in fact his early tenure at Leeds was not his best, he is a coach who could never see fault in his own limited abilities! and blamed everyone else. Leeds have some superb players and on that pitch they had some home advantage.
Anyway I wanted Leeds to win! LOL

Why play a match attended by mainly Leeds fans in a venue 30 minutes by train away from Leeds when you have a stadium in the heart of the city? It just doesnt make sense

Traveling 30 minutes doesn't make sense? anyone who wants to see a Premiership football team or a top arena concert travels at least if not more than 30 minutes unless they live in Manchester or Liverpool and they do! Bigger attendances bring in more revenue! lets just look at the figures just from 2005, which Leeds have appeared in Five including last night and look at those attendances.
2005 Leeds Rhinos 39–32 Bulldogs Elland Road, Leeds 37,028
2006 Bradford Bulls 30–10 Wests Tigers Galpharm Stadium, Huddersfield 19,207
2007 St Helens 18–14 Brisbane Broncos Reebok Stadium, Bolton 23,247
2008 Leeds Rhinos 11–4 Melbourne Storm Elland Road, Leeds 33,204
2009 Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles 28–20 Leeds Rhinos Elland Road, Leeds 32,569
2010 Melbourne Storm 18–10 Leeds Rhinos Elland Road, Leeds 27,697
2011 St George Illawarra Dragons 21–15 Wigan Warriors DW Stadium, Wigan 24,268
2012 Leeds Rhinos 26-12 Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles Headingley Carnegie Stadium, Leeds 21,062
It's of you think of the Big Picture or just keep a small parochial attitude and accept 6,000 less than the lowest attendance before last night and 16,000 Less than watched the final in 2005!

| One thing that struck me was... hasn't Jamie Lyon gone backwards in his career?

No. He's still one of the best in the world. I think Leeds just did a good job on him.

Well they wanted to have it at Elland Road but it wasn't available. To be fair it was a great game and a great atmosphere.

It was a great game, but thought we had seen the back of pitches like that bad, shows what union has done!

| I thought Lyon gave Hardaker a bit of a lesson TBH. He may not have the pace he once had, but he runs fantastic angles and still makes every single play count as he's always looking to make something happen. Hopefully Hardaker will have learned a lot from playing him.

I though they came out even. No line breaks and Lyon was getting a bit ratty towards then end.

| Home ground advantage, sandy pitch, weather and two tries from forward passes ...think that sums it up for me
