its just my opinion, but i dont think Hoffman was overly late, certainly a 50/50 call and not half as bad (or good as we used to say) as hooper's classic late shots

There was nothing wrong with Hoffman's shot on Wheeler if you go by old school rules. He was totally committed to the shot. However, I'm sure I remember it being said that you now have to go for the ball when chasing down a kicker rather than aiming for the man. So maybe it was technically a foul, but it wasn't dirty play IMO.

He was on the bench vs Bradford before we played Leeds in the cc Final, cant get a place really since Gleeson left and Charnley/Pat offering more. Hes been in most of the 19 man squads though.

Unless Charnely's fortunes chance I can't see him featuring, which is a shame for him, given his record last year. When's his contract up? If that carries on, he'll be moving for first team action somewhere. I'm suprised Widnes haven't been mentioned already.

Its only because we feel he's so talented that its so frustrating, but FFS, he's been playing reserves for a month to prove his fitness. What the hell is going on with him!?

Wheeler HAS to be released. He's never shown any quality in the first team and does not deserve to be in the squad.

Why is it rubbish? Wheeler isn't contributing enough to be worthy of a contract. He has played what 6 times this year? My bet with Blobby (?) that he wouldn't do 12 games is as safe as houses.

There comes a time when a club just has to look at a player's record and make a call on it.

Unless he turns it around and plays 20+ games next year he surely cannot be given a new deal. Personally I'd be looking at offloading him now.
