| I'm hoping for a morale boosting announcement of him re-signing in the week leading up to the wigan semi final.
I'm starting to think he'll saty - could be a big helping of wishful thinking though.

Bradford
Perpignan
Which to choose? It's a toughie, I can fully understand him taking his time to decide.

Paradise. I don't know why he is even considering the other option.

| Quote: McClennan "I would support a two year deal but three years I'm not so sure on. I'm not sure comparing with Lockyer or Briers is a fair one though. Briers hardly has the same sort of physical play to his game either in attack or defence and not only could you say the same for Lockyer I would also say comparing him to one of the greatest players ever to play the game isn't a fair comparison.'"
They were just examples. I could've added others from both here and the NRL (past and present).
The comparison with Lockyer may seem extreme but Lockyer is the best in the world and Pryce is the best in this country. My main argument is that securing top class half backs is difficult especially British ones and we currently have one. Losing that asset would be a huge mistake at this stage, especially when I believe he has plenty to give. Warrington and Wigan certainly wouldn't think about getting rid of Leuluai or Briers and we shouldn't with Pryce.

I think the difference is that Pryce has had two very serious injuries, the latter one known to be a very difficult one to heal. When Hohaia is coming in and we have a few young halves who have now had a significant amount of first grade experience in their rookie year, it's a big call to decide between re-signing a highly skilled and very experienced but potentially risky player when measured against the young talent we have coming through (younger, fitter).

| Sir mac is still in talks with pryce's agent but if I was a betting man I don't think Leon will be at saints next year.
As it stands it looks like we can't match the offer Catalan has made but his agent is still talking to saints, so let's just wait and see.

| It's a difficult decision for sure, I've read this debate and find myself agreeing with most points and changing my mind after every post.
If he does leave then I have no problems with him going to Catalans, he would give them a real shot at a trophy in the next couple of years which would be massive for the game.
