Surely everyone is "potentially" injury prone? Would you say Maurie is injury prone?

Foz has played 20+ games this year and is another prop for the squad - just what we need.

At any time players are injury prone especially in the front row but why increase that risk by signing a 32 year old prop who a season ago was let go? Do they know their s from their elbows?

Hopefully this will be an inspired choice like the signing of Baloo, but I can not help think it is motivated financially otherwise im just confused....

Fozz had awful injury problems in his early career, but they cleared up when he got to saints (barring his last season, which had one bad knee injury) - goes to show there's a little bit of luck aswell.

Also, like baloo who suffered early in his career, the lack of total milage may help him crack on into the twilight of his career.

Saints signed a 34 year old prop who knocked the stuffing out of everyone he played against a number of years ago...

The thing is, this season has shown that we made a mistake in letting him go. We'd be in much better shape now if we hadn't. Besides, he's not being signed as a great white hope or a long term solution ... he's coming here for one season to provide support in the front row, something which we have lacked terribly this season.

It'll be good to get a new face in for the merchandise push around Christmas.

Watched foz last week at Leeds and saw him last night against Wigan and he looks a very pale shadow of the player we had.

He hardly plays any game time and looks tired after 10 mins. I feel we've made a mistake in signing him.

I hope I'm wrong but he's not a patch on the foz we knew at saints.

I like foz and he will give his all but he's just to old now.

After an off season back training with us he may get back into form. We know he likes the gym - unless we all believe what we have heard about the players training being too hard. It'll either make him or break him. Fozz like Graham has had to do far more than one would have wished for this season. His workload at HKR due to injuries has been immense and so a good rest will benefit him.

Hope that's true mate.

Going off las night i'd be hoping if I were a Saints fan that a move back to the club he wants to be at will re-ignite him because he was poor last night. I think we targeted a little as a past Saints player but he took some punishment and unlike in the past he didn't seem to be able to come back from it. It will help him at Saints having better players around him though especially in the front row.

He had little support last night as Wigan did a great job on the KR pack especially Vella who they hammered all night.

Theres a video on youtube of our training camp in Cardiff 2009. FOzzard is just constantly messing about in the gym while everyone is in stitches. He'll bring great morale back.

But thats not enough in its own right to justify re-signing him.

Quite simply, in most peoples opinions (including the dobins) he isn't as good as when we let him go to the dobins, so why anyone can imagine it is a good move to get him back stretches blind loyalty to the club a bit too far.

This decision has nothing at all to do with Club finances of course.
