He beat two men, stepped the fullback and his momentus took him over the line. It's called slidding. Go outside with a rugby ball over your local field and run and slide from 10 metres out, you will slide past the in goal.

They both looked a threat in broken field and they both have a lot of learning to do when leading a team around a park. That's not a criticism though, and I'm convinced both will learn the tricks of the trade as half backs and go on to be world beaters. Great to see these lads coming through.

it's a tricky one to interpret that Eastmond try, I don't think there was a double movement, because it was all 1 sliding movement, there was no halt especially when seen in real time. So I dont think his hand pushed him on after being stopped, I think it simply supported the slide, as opposed to tucking his hand in in which would have stopped the slide by use of his shoulder.

the only thing that really matters about Eastmonds try in the end is that it was given and we won.

I only saw the Eastmond try whilst at the ground from the other end of the Stadium(can i call it that ) but it looked 100% fine to me!

I'll watch the replay in abit and be back on spitting chips if there anything up with it though
