We play Leeds the week after Easter so I imagine we will rest players at Widnes.

| Widnes is a tough one to rest players, they have not exactly been slacking off this year.
But given it's after the Good Friday fixture, you would expect some rotation anyway. But you can now think there will be almost 100% rotation now that we line up against Leeds.
I don't think anyone in the match against Widnes should think of themselves as also rans, if that match was not on some players may have been in the first team anyway.
Assuming a fit outfit squad I would do the following.
Wigan
Lomax, Swift, Jones, Turner, Makinson, Lance, Walsh, Amor, Roby, Walmsley, Sia, Manu, LMS : Masoe, Flanaghan, Laffranchi, Walker
Widnes
Wellens, Acadamy Winger Percival, Dawson, Acadamey Winger, Wheeler, Wilkin, Walker, Charnock, Laffranchi, Richards, Thompson, Savelio
Greenwood, Flanaghan, Beaumount (if fit), Jordan Hand. (clough would have been handy)
Leeds
Whoever is in form and ready to go on the Saturday

I'd be happy to win one of the two Easter games and take a fresh healthy squad to Leeds.
If we can get the win on Friday against Cas and win one if our Easter games I think most would be happy with 9 wins from 10 and a healthy squad in cc at Leeds.

| Same here, funnily enough Wigan will be our best chance for a win if we are going to rest players. We will have to rest nearly the whole team as that 3rd game over easter is always a killer. Better to keep it to just one game for those needed against Leeds.
Especially as Leeds have 2 byes over easter. Bradford and Salford

| It could be that the Wigan game is the easier one of the three, our strength in depth is our pack so we can rotate them quite easily. I would perhaps put Walsh on the bench for the Widnes game and rotate him with Lance with half a game each.

| No cchance. Full team for case. It's a classic 4 pointer. That comment makes no mathematical sense.

| Quote: saint at wire "Bit early for the GF Wigoon thread but...............Just read in Sporting Life that the apeman is thinking/planning of resting players against London prior to the Good Friday game.
Obviously he is a teeny bit worried about us and its not something we can really do against Cas.
Lets hope we can regain full form as if we do, we will smash them.'"
How naïve can one get!!! How shameful, a coach who does his job in an effort to try and win games. Whatever next?

I'd refuse to play if Laffranchi was playing.

| Most teams are resting players against London - in recent weeks my fantasy team has been scuppered by kickers not playing ( Sinfield and Sneyd).
It's not exactly rocket science from the ape the week before Easter.
Saints on the other hand have it really tough Cas - Wigan - Wids - Leeds. Looks like a second string turn out Easter Monday
