I have no issue pal! I'm made up and I've watched these youngsters for the last 2 years and I know a couple of them quite well!

However there is some people who don't know who the play for!

To me it shows good scouting systems.
Three of the eight players selected from Wigan are from outside the Wigan area.

I'm pleased Ryan Hampshire was selected.

It would be even better if the players were from outside of the rugby league heartlands. In effect, whilst admittedly probably exposing the players to better coaches within a better environment, it is not actually expanding the talent base to the game and is just reducing the quality of youth player at the "smaller" Super League clubs (which does then allow the ill-informed to "slag-off" the same clubs for not producing the youngsters that Wigan do and having to sign Wigan's cast-offs).

Whilst not disagreeing with what you are saying in it's entirety, two of the Wigan boys are from an area with no Superleague club(s) and the other one was hotly pursued by Warrington (and ather SL Clubs) in as much that a Wire Yorkshire based player actually went to his house to try and persuade the young player to join Warrington.
