Not sure I agree - I think he's weak in the tackle and that he struggles positionally too. Admittedly I haven't seen him as much as you have. |

Apart from the odd supporter that likes to use him as a scape goat, I think you'll find most of us appricate his good points. The problem is not the frequency of his laspses but the monumental moments he tends to save them up for! |

He can be devastating when he's on form and he's mistake free - sadly he makes very high profile errors when he's under pressure. |

It looked to me that he hit with his shoulder, the fact that no hudds players ran in arguing or having a go indicates there was little wrong with it

I couldnt see theincident clearly but I could see the ref and he was in a perfect position and he didnt react at all until it was clear that the hudds player wasnt getting up |

It looked ok to me, the player put his head down and Meli caught him with his shoulder. I'm sure he'll be ok for the wigan game and hope he scores an hatrick with no mistakes.
